We will develop national reports for each country and a European summary report covering all countries in our scope. You can also find our policy recommendations here. We will present best practices as pilot cases concerning different aspects of tackling wildlife crime in the SWiPE countries.

National reports

We are working on our national reports for the 11 countries SWiPE covers, the reports will be published both in English and in the national languages.

Our reports will identify:

  1. the status of wildlife crime in a national context, including types and frequency of wildlife crimes and prosecution
    rates;
  2. key governance gaps and stumbling blocks for effective wildlife crime prosecution (along the enforcement chain with
    emphasis on cross-border aspects);
  3. cases of successful prosecution with good practice examples;
  4. specific capacity/training needs or potential knowledge gaps along the enforcement chain.
